Pickering Public Library is excited to introduce our new on-site Laptop Service and all it takes is a Pickering Public Library card and a piece of Photo ID. This first come first serve service offers a laptop that can be signed out and used within the Central and George Ashe Library. Whether you need tools for homework, business, or leisure this laptop service has you covered. Each laptop comes pre-installed with Office Suite which includes Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel. You will also be able to take Zoom or TEAM calls with the built in camera and mic for virtual meetups. Remote printing will also be available using Paper Cut (Click here to create Paper Cut account). All computers are ready to go with just a click of the button and comes with a USB mouse for easier user experience. All laptop profile and associated files are erased after each client use to protect your privacy and ready to use for the next client. Please note laptops must remain in the library and cannot be taken off site.
