Inktober Digital Art Contest 2024

Calling all artists ages 14+: submit your one of a kind digital art pieces by October 31st for your chance to be featured on our library website and win some fun prizes!

Submission Guidlines: Submit one digital art piece no bigger than 30mb as a JPG or PNG file. Participants must have an active Pickering library membership. Please include a brief third-person biography (100 words maximum) along with your submission; feel free to include any information you’d like to be shared such as a headshot of yourself or any social media accounts you post your art to!

By submitting to the Pickering Public Library’s Digital Art Contest, you consent to have your work temporarily featured on our website and featured on our social media sites. All Artists retain the rights to their work, accepted or otherwise.

Please note that we will not accept any work that in any way inflicts harm upon marginalized groups. Do not submit work that is racist, homophobic, misogynistic, ableist, political or transphobic, nor any blood and gore as it will be rejected immediately. In the spirit of Inktober, no AI generated images will be accepted. Pieces will be judged on overall creativity, theme, use of colour and more.
