Welcome to another year of summer reading! This year is sure to be more fun, more prizes and of course more reading than ever before! This year's theme is 'Around the World!'
The TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, interests, and abilities. The Club celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators, and stories, and inspires kids to explore the fun of reading their way. This is key to building a lifelong love of reading.
Visit any Pickering Public Library location to register for the reading club, and to receive a notebook and stickers to track your reading. In addition to reading, the children's team has a great line-up of programs that will keep you busy all summer long! The fun begins on June 23, 2025!
Join us for the Summer Reading Club FUNtastic Fair on Saturday, July 5 from 11:00am - 2:00pm in Esplanade Park (behind the Pickering Public Library - Central Branch). We will have a magic show with Magic Mel at 12:00pm, face painting, popcorn and lots of activities and crafts led by the children's team and various community partners. Come celebrate a summer of reading with us!
