
Teen Advisory Group (TAG)
TAG consists of Grade 8-12 students (13+) who meet twice a month.
The Teen Advisory Group helps to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages teens to become life-long library users, while providing library-related services to youth in a fun and friendly environment.
TAG Subcommittees:
- Engagement Subcommittee - reviewing YA library materials
- Discord Subcommittee - engaging with teens in Teen Discord Server
- Instagram Subcommittee - posting weekly on TAG-run Instagram account
- Passive Activities Subcommittee - creating passive activities for teen area
- Program Subcommittee - creating teen-focused event proposals
TAG Initiatives
- Creating TAG-run Trivia
- Participating in Outreach opportunities
- Participating in the 2025 Youth Forum to give feedback on the redesign of Teen Events & Teen Area
- Setup and takedown of the Semi-Annual Book Sale
