Teen Advisory Group (TAG)
TAG consists of Grade 8-12 students (13+) who meet one Monday every month.
The Teen Advisory Group helps to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages teens to become life-long library users, while providing library-related services to youth in a fun and friendly environment.
Initiatives TAG has been involved with:
- Elementary School outreach events to recruit new members
- Interview Subcommittee (creating questions for new TAG interviews)
- Annual Santa Claus Parade participants
- Instagram proposal
Programs that TAG has created/helped out on:
- 5MFF participants (created films during a Library Lock In event)
- How-To in 5 Festival (Annual)
- Artificial Reality Games (ARG) online
- Virtual Reality programs in their high schools
- Escape Rooms (pre-pandemic)
