Teen Reading Challenge

The Teen Reading Challenge (TRC) is open to anyone between 13 and 19 years of age.

Starting June 27th, register and participate throughout the summer by logging the books you read, completing online challenges, and participating in our programs!

When you participate in the TRC, you’ll get a shot at winning one of our AMAZING prizes.

During the TRC, you can read any book (including comics, graphic novels, manga, eBooks, audiobooks, books you own, and so on). For a book to count towards earning badges, it must be a book you have read THIS summer.

• Once you have read a book (or certain number of pages), log your pages read to earn ballots. For every 15 pages you read, you will earn one ballot for our draw. You can only earn the number of badges that are available during the challenge (up to 3000 pages for the entire summer).
• You can earn extra ballots by completing challenges on our bingo card. One bingo square = 1 extra ballot
• If you are keen on attending programs this summer, you will receive one bonus ballot per Teen program attended.

• August 27th, TRC Wrap Up & Elite Draw 4pm-6pm at Central Library
