    To request a book club set, please make your reservation online with your Library card.

    You will receive notifications from staff when the reservation has been approved.

    Book Club Sets must be returned in person to staff (not through the drop-box) at any Pickering Library branch. The set is not considered returned unless the bag and all of the contents are returned to the Library.

    Every eBook and audiobook offered through Hoopla is available for simultaneous use - no holds or wait times. Search directly within Hoopla to find the eBook and audiobook titles available to your Book Club.

    Some eBooks and audiobooks on CloudLibrary are available for simultaneous use - no holds or wait times. If you are interested in obtaining a list of simultaneous use titles available through CloudLibrary, please email help@pickeringlibrary.ca

    We do not have any library staff-run book clubs at the library, however, there are two community-led book clubs that currently use library space and are accepting new members:

    Community Book Club #1:
    Central Library at 7:00 pm

    4th Tuesday of the month

    If you're interested in joining Community Book Club #1 please email book club member Laurel, at lacoish59@gmail.com 

     
    Community Book Club #2:
    George Ashe at 2:00 pm

    Last Monday of the month

    If you're interested in joining Community Book Club #2, or for more information about community-led book clubs, please email adults@pickeringlibrary.ca

     

    Late fees have been eliminated so no late fees will be incurred. The Set will only be checked in if it is complete and if any part of the Set is not returned, regular lost procedures and charges apply. The person who checked out the set is responsible for any lost charges.
